Starting from the connection detail between the low-mounted furniture caster and the vertical furniture leg, a modular construction system was developed.
By deliberately exaggerating this structural detail, adaptability is not only enabled functionally but also emphasized visually. The construction thus creates an immediate invitation to modify, appropriate, and personalize the object.
The table serves as an experiment in a standardized furniture typology that, in its conventional form, is particularly space-intensive. Thanks to its flexible and transformable structure, the number of required furniture pieces can be reduced, as a single object is able to accommodate different uses and spatial requirements.
